Death of Indians in Lebanon Lebanese police have recovered bodies of at least six Indians in Beirut and cities to its north. Beirut newspapers said the men had been killed in sectarian riots in Lebanon over the past six weeks. Landmines laid by suspected Tamil guerrillas in Sri Lanka have killed 11 security personnel, seven policemen and four soldiers and injured four others in two separate blasts in eastern Sri Lanka, a Defense Ministry spokesman said.
The policemen were in a jeep when a landmine exploded on the Allai-Kantalai Road in eastern Trincomalee district, about 225 kilometers from Colombo. Later, an explosion near Vakaray in Batticaloa killed four soldiers and injured four others.
