On December 7, three people died on the spot in Mandya district when the vehicle they were traveling in went out of control after hitting a roadside curb and fell into a ditch. The accident occurred on the Bengaluru-Mangaluru Highway near Nagathihalli in Nagamangala taluk. The deceased belonged to the same family and have been identified as Chandre Gowda, 64, Sarojamma, 57, and Jayamma, 70, all from Chikkamagaluru.

Bindiganville police visited the spot and registered a case.
