(File photo) Days after 25 people died in a fire at Goa’s popular nightclub Birch by Romeo Lane, officials on Tuesday said the Noida Police has launched a massive intensive inspection drive at restaurants, bars and entertainment venues in the city to ensure strict compliance with safety norms. According to officials, teams from the fire services department including the Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Excise Department and Electrical Safety Department are conducting joint surprise inspections at various establishments to identify and rectify any deficiencies related to fire safety, electrical infrastructure and overall public safety.
