The Union Health Ministry in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) on Wednesday (December 10, 2025) launched a month-long Delhi Metro campaign at Sultanpur Metro station focusing on the health and well-being of women and girls. The campaign will run through December and January, with messaging on women’s safety, mental health support, digital inclusion, pre-conception and pre-natal diagnostic techniques (PC-PNDT), and tuberculosis awareness on metro trains and select stations. Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava said that leveraging Delhi Metro will ensure that these important messages reach millions of daily commuters, strengthen awareness and empower women and girls in the capital city.
