Ahead of the Congress rally on the “vote theft” issue, the BJP on Sunday (December 14, 2025) alleged that the main opposition party was organizing the event to “protect infiltrators from being removed from the voter list”. The ruling BJP stressed that the Congress will not succeed in its intention to mislead the people as well as “insult and defame” the constitutional institutions, as the entire world knows that India’s democracy is “very strong”.
Stepping up its campaign against alleged “vote theft” by the BJP in the elections, the Congress has organized a rally at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi on Sunday (December 14, 2025) attended by general secretaries Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, K. C.
Including top leaders of the party. Venugopal, Jairam Ramesh and Sachin Pilot.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and former party chief Rahul Gandhi are expected to address the gathering. Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi is also likely to be present in this program.

Ahead of the event, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said the Congress is holding the rally while Union Home Minister Amit Shah has “exposed” the opposition through a point-by-point rebuttal of its “fabricated” allegations during the debate on electoral reforms during the ongoing winter session of Parliament. The BJP MP told reporters, “This shows that you do not have the truth in your hands, yet you are trying to create an atmosphere of confusion.

” He said, “The Congress party can make every effort to mislead the people as well as insult and defame our constitutional institutions. But, the whole world knows that India’s democracy is very strong and cannot be shaken. ” The BJP leader accused Congress of organizing the rally to pursue its “appeasement politics” and challenged Rahul Gandhi to challenge the Bihar Assembly elections if he felt there were any irregularities.
Patra said, “Rahul ji, you still probably have 10 days left. If you feel that there has been any irregularity (in the election process) on any seat in the Bihar assembly elections, you can still file a complaint.
