Guwahati: Actor-vlogger Ashish Vidyarthi and his wife Rupali Barua were injured when they were hit by a motorcycle while crossing a road in Guwahati’s Zoo Tiniyali area on Friday night (January 2, 2026). In a social media post, Mr Vidyarthi said he suffered minor injuries, and his wife was under observation.

“Both of us are fine,” he said. Locals who informed the police said that the bike rider was seriously injured after the motorcycle hit the couple. The bike rider was taken to Guwahati Medical College Hospital for treatment.
