Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has proposed ₹12,846 crore for Delhi Police for 2026-27. Of the total allocation, ₹11,881.

55 crore is earmarked under the revenue head and ₹964. 60 crore is earmarked for capital expenditure.

The budget estimate for 2025–26 was ₹12,259. 16 crore. The revenue allocation will be used for payment of salaries and pensions, a senior official said.
