Ramesh West Zone – West Zone Police arrested former Chief Minister Y. S.
A case was registered against former minister and YSR Congress Party leader Jogi Ramesh for allegedly taking out a rally, gathering public and obstructing police duties during his tenure. Jaganmohan Reddy’s visit to Ibrahimpatnam in NTR district on Friday (February 6, 2026). Based on the complaint lodged by SI Ravi Verma, alleging that Mr.
Ramesh organized a bike rally, prevented the police from performing their duties, obstructed traffic and caused inconvenience to the public, the Ibrahimpatnam police registered a case against the former minister on Saturday (February 7, 2026). Jagan Mohan Reddy says he will explore all legal avenues to expose ‘Jungle Raj’ in Andhra Pradesh.
A case has been registered against the YSRC leader under sections 132 (obstructing a government officer from performing his duties), section 190 (unlawful assembly), section 292 (causing public nuisance) and other charges of the Indian Civil Code (BNSS). Former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and other YSRC leaders visited Mr. Ramesh’s house, which was allegedly attacked and burnt by Telugu Desam Party workers.
