The Delhi High Court on Thursday (April 2, 2026) directed the removal of a controversial song allegedly released by rappers Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah in 2006, calling it “obscene, blatantly obscene, derogatory towards women”. Justice Purushindra Kumar Kaurav said the lyrics were “not merely distasteful or offensive” but were “directly misogynistic, dehumanizing and intended to normalize the treatment of women as objects of ridicule and sexual gratification”.
