Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Thursday chaired a high-level security meeting to review the prevailing law and order situation following the death of two children in the Tronglaobi blast. State Home Minister Govinddas Konthoujam, Chief Secretary Punit Kumar Goyal, as well as several senior police officers attended the meeting held at the Cabinet Hall of the CM Secretariat. Official sources told The Indian Express that the meeting was called after inputs from central intelligence agencies indicated that a group with “vested interests” was attempting to destabilize the government and disrupt the ongoing peace process in the state.
