Proddatur Circle Inspector – Enraged, a schoolboy from Proddatur town cycled to Nandyal, 100 km away, and later boarded a train to Raichur, where the police traced him and brought him back home. According to Proddatur Circle Inspector Konda Reddy, the boy was scolded by his father for quarreling with his younger brother over small matters. Angered by this act, the boy picked up his school bag and cycled overnight to Nandyal town via Rajupalem and Chagalamari, covering a distance of about 100 km.
