Handicrafts are part of our rich heritage, and there is a need to preserve the heritage of the 400-year-old Kondapalli toy making craft for future generations, said NTR District Collector G. Laxmisha said. After inaugurating the “Kondapalli Bommala Panduga” at the Kondapalli Toys Experience Center on the occasion of World Heritage Day on Saturday (April 18, 2026), the Collector said that the district administration and the tourism department are working together to ensure that the traditional craft is preserved and gets global recognition.
