Hindustan Petroleum Rajasthan – Restoration work is underway at Hindustan Petroleum’s refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in Rajasthan’s Balotra district, which caught fire ahead of its inauguration earlier this week, and is expected to be completed in the next three to four weeks, the state-owned oil-marketing company said in a social media post on Saturday evening (April 25, 2026). It said the crude distillation unit, which is the primary unit of any refinery, is expected to be restarted in the “second fortnight of May this year”, while other secondary units are already in the advanced stage of commissioning as per plan.
