ANI Screengrab: Hours after Faridabad terror plot busted, massive car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, several killed New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday said the blast in Delhi took place in a Hyundai i20 car at the Subhash Marg traffic signal near the Red Fort. The Home Minister said the government was “exploring all possibilities and will conduct a thorough investigation keeping all possibilities in mind. ” He said, “I will go to the spot soon and will also go to the hospital immediately.

” At 7 pm, a Hyundai i20 car exploded at the Subhash Marg traffic signal near the Red Fort in Delhi. Some pedestrians were injured and some vehicles were damaged in the blast.

Within 10 minutes of receiving information about the blast, teams from Delhi Crime Branch and Delhi Special Branch reached the spot and checked all the CCTV cameras in the vicinity. I have also spoken to Delhi CP and Special Branch in-charge.
