Vijay Jan Nayakan – The teaser of Yash’s upcoming film Toxic raised many eyebrows, with some even filing a complaint against the makers, objecting to the adult content shown in the teaser. Recently, Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Chairman Prasoon Joshi opened up on the issue and shared that the teaser was not approved by the board. He also clarified that the content uploaded on YouTube and other digital platforms is not certified.
Speaking to India Today on the toxic teaser, the CBFC chairman said, “I don’t think I will comment right now. ” He further added, “I don’t think anything until things are implemented on the certification board.
Sometimes, I also want to clarify that a lot of things that you see on YouTube and other digital platforms, many times they are not certified. So people think that whatever they are watching is certified.
