: Pallavaram police on Thursday arrested five people, including two women, for the murder of a youth in Tirusulam. Police said that A of Amman Nagar in Tirusulam. Selvakumar was in a relationship with two women – Reena and her friend Rajitha.

Since Selvakumar regularly harassed both the women, they planned to murder him. He invited her to a party at his home in Pallavaram on Wednesday.

There a gang of five people attacked him with knives and ran away. He died at Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital on Thursday night. Police arrested two women and three others.

The search is on for the remaining two accused.
