The Pixel series gives Google the ability to showcase a premium experience compared to the iPhone. (Image credit: Google) Google announced on Thursday that it will launch a new AI-powered Pixel 10a on February 18, aiming to bring advanced AI functionality to less expensive phones and debuting its popular A-series smartphones. The announcement was made via a YouTube video, which surprised many as the launch was happening earlier than expected.
The short teaser confirms the Pixel 10a and its design, which looks largely similar to its predecessor. However, the main change appears to be a flat dual-camera setup at the back which fits in perfectly with the device.
Last year’s model featured a raised lip around the pill-shaped camera cutout. Google has remained tight-lipped about the hardware specifications of the Pixel 10a so far.
