An internet shutdown in Iran, which activists fear has left hundreds dead in a crackdown, has now lasted more than three and a half days, a monitor said on Monday. Monitor NetBlocks said, “As Iran wakes up to a new day, metrics show that the national Internet blackout has passed the 84-hour mark,” adding that the blackouts could be prevented by shortwave radio, cell coverage at the borders, Starlink and connecting satellite phones.
