Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha on Friday (December 05, 2025) said the government will take special care of physically challenged children and ensure that they are at par with other children in education. After attending the mega parent and teacher meeting, the Minister visited Sri Gurudev Charitable Trust located at Mangalampalem in Kothavalasa mandal of Vizianagaram district. He spoke to Raparthi Jagadish Babu, founder of the trust, who told him that the trust was supplying artificial limbs to many children across the state.

He said the light weight artificial limbs would enable the children to walk independently and go to school regularly. He promised that the government will help the disabled children to live a confident life by providing all facilities including ramps in educational institutions.
