Diljit Dosanjh is no less than a global phenomenon today. From Punjab to Coachella, his name resonates beyond borders. He became the first Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella, making a historic appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon – joyfully chanting “Punjab Aa Gaya Oye!” And now wherever he goes, the tune of “Main Hoon Punjab” sounds like an anthem.

He calls himself a “global citizen”, a title he has earned not only through fame but by fearlessly standing up for his views. Over the years, Diljit has overcome more than his share of controversies. From criticism for alcohol-related lyrics during the world tour of Dil-Illuminati, to the backlash over Sardar Ji 3 for casting Pakistani actress Hania Aamir after the Pahalgam attack, he has consistently refused to bow to political correctness.

Right or wrong never determined its expression – authenticity did.
