Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (February 1, 2026) unveiled the new name of Adampur airport as Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji Airport, Adampur, Jalandhar and also inaugurated the civil terminal building at Halwara Airport in Ludhiana. The Prime Minister, who reached Adampur airport at around 3. 45 pm, will also visit Dera Sachkhand Ballan on the occasion of the 649th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas.
