The literary festival titled ‘Samajmukhi Literary Conference’ featuring budding and senior writers from different parts of the state including Mysore will be held on November 8 and 9 at the Bharat Scouts and Guides complex at Palace Road, Bengaluru. Addressing a press conference in Mysuru on Wednesday on behalf of the Samajmukhi team, wildlife photographer Lokesh Moseley said Samajmukhi Publications has been publishing a monthly magazine for the last eight years, as well as organizing events to promote theater and Yakshagana.
Story-writing competitions. As part of the literary conference, a total of 47 group discussions will be held on creative, classical, non-Kannada and heritage platforms apart from the main sessions.
Over 225 writers and thinkers will participate in the conference, with the inaugural event being attended by Hampa Nagarajaiah, Baraguru Ramachandrappa and H. S. Like litterateurs will be included.
