The Hindu will host a consumer-exclusive health webinar focused on the topic ‘Tackling the Binge: Learning to Handle Addictive Behaviours’ on Sunday (December 7, 2025) from 11. 30 am to 12.
30 pm. The webinar will explore how addictive patterns are formed, and how excessive behaviors impact overall well-being, examining the biological, psychological and behavioral mechanisms behind cravings, emotional triggers and loss of control. Experts will discuss the impact of these behaviors on both mental and metabolic health, early warning signs, and evidence-based strategies to manage and prevent harmful cycles.
In one-hour sessions, therapists will outline practical coping tools, therapeutic approaches, and guidance for families supporting individuals dealing with addiction. The webinar will include: R.
