CreamCollar Edutech signs – Creamcollar Edutech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TN Apex Skill Development Center for Automobile (TN Auto Skills) under Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) to develop a future-ready workforce for the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution. This collaboration will equip engineers with emerging skills in AI, automotive electronics, virtual twins, cyber security, product thinking and systems engineering, strengthening Tamil Nadu’s position as a global automotive product innovation hub. As part of its academic collaboration initiative, Creamcolor will set up Centers of Excellence (CoE) for software-defined vehicles in academic institutions and innovation centres.

These CoEs will emphasize applied R&D, faculty training and practical product engineering programs that bridge academia and industry together. TN Auto Skills, a flagship TNSDC and ASDC initiative, focuses on industry-aligned upskilling, curriculum modernization, Global Consortium Alliance for Automotive Skills Development and creation of Centers of Excellence to ensure Tamil Nadu’s continued leadership in automotive product innovation and manufacturing.

Tamil Nadu โ€“ known as the “Detroit of Asia” โ€“ is home to leading automotive and component manufacturers, contributing 21% of India’s passenger car production, 33% of commercial vehicles and 35% of auto components. The state contributes about 40% of India’s EV production, supported by over โ‚น50,000 crore in expected EV and e-mobility investments by 2025.
