Bengaluru Raj Ganpat – Raj Ganpat, fitness and nutrition coach and co-founder of fitness center The Quad in Chennai, admits he is a little nervous. โ€œThat nervous energy comes from the fact that this will be my first Highrox event,โ€ he says, referring to the Ultrahuman Highrox Bengaluru race scheduled for this weekend (April 11 and 12) at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.

All cities have seen a surge in participation, with Mumbai hosting 1,650 athletes for the inaugural edition, followed by 2,200 in Delhi last year, 3,350 in the September 2025 Mumbai event and 8,200 in Bengaluru. Launched in Germany in 2017 by race organizer Christian Toetzke and Olympian Moritz Fรผrste, Highrocks has evolved into a global fitness racing series built around the fundamentals of athletic performance. Designed to include all age groups and fitness levels, it features a range of categories including singles, doubles and relay formats, and today over 80 events are held in 25 countries with over 250,000 participants.
