US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday (April 7, 2026) that he has “agreed to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. ” Mr Trump said he spoke to leaders of Pakistan, which has been a mediator between Washington and Tehran and which has sought a two-week ceasefire in the Iran war.
