Visuals of the great star’s loved ones paying their last respects outside his residence in Mumbai emerged online, marking the end of an era.

Kaushal was 98 years old and was India’s oldest living actor. Along with his family, his pet dogs were also seen at the funeral.

Kamini Kaushal rose to prominence in the 1950s soon after making her debut in Chetan Anand’s Neecha Nagar (1946), a landmark film that won the Cannes Film Festival. For decades, he gave memorable performances in classics like Nadiya Ke Paar, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, and Chennai Express. His last screen appearance was in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.
