Kunal Khemu Plans – The trailer of Kunal Kemmu’s upcoming family-drama series, Single Papa was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Produced by Ishita Moitra and Neeraj Udhwani, the series is directed by Shashank Khaitan, Hitesh Kewalya and Neeraj. It also stars Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza, Prajakta Koli, Neha Dhupia, Suhail Nayyar, Dayanand Shetty, Ayesha Ahmed, Dhruv Rathee and Isha Talwar in lead roles.

The trailer starts with a ridiculous conversation in the court where Esha, who is seen playing Kunal’s character’s wife, talks about his man-child behaviour. Kunal then tells everyone that he has decided to adopt a child and become his ‘single dad’. His family is shocked and tries to convince him.

After this, Kunal is seen taking lessons in taking care of the child. At the end of the trailer, Neha’s character tells Kunal that she will not let him adopt the child.

The series promises to be a quirky family-drama with a mix of comedy and emotions. Talking about the show, Kunal said in a statement, “Playing the character of Gaurav has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The character is flawed, funny and extremely loving.

just like many real-life single parents. I think the audience will see themselves and their family in the show. The warmth of each character is what makes this show so special and wholesome!” Neha said, “As a parent, what impresses me most about Single Papa is how honestly it portrays the chaos, tenderness and flaws that make families what they are.
