DMK’s organizing secretary R. S. Said that Stalin and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi are unlikely to share the stage during the campaign for the upcoming assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

Bharti said on Friday (April 17, 2026). Speaking to reporters at Anna Arivalayam, the DMK headquarters in Chennai, Mr Bharathi, responding to a question on Mr Gandhi’s campaign schedule in Tamil Nadu, where he is scheduled to visit Ponneri, Sholingur and Thuraiyur on Saturday (April 18), said Mr Stalin’s visit schedule had already been decided.
