Humayun Kabir – Though helicopters hovering over the skies of poll-bound West Bengal is not an uncommon sight, a blue and white helicopter is making quite a noise over the central parts of the state, especially Murshidabad district. Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP) founder and suspended Trinamool Congress leader Humayun Kabir has started election campaigning across the region by helicopter. Mr Kabir told media persons that he had hired a helicopter for 23 days from April 4 to 27.
There is a stir regarding Humayun Kabir’s helicopter journey as questions are being raised regarding its funding.
