bomb Air India – According to sources, officials received a bomb threat message on Thursday (November 13, 2025) for an Air India flight when it was flying from Toronto to Delhi and later, the flight landed safely in the national capital. In the morning, Delhi Police received a message claiming that there was a bomb threat on flight AI188.
Subsequently, a Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) was formed at the Delhi airport and it was assessed that the threat was “non-specific”, sources told PTI. The message was received around 11:30 am when the flight, operated by a Boeing 777 aircraft, was in the air and more than four hours from Delhi, sources said.
When contacted, an Air India spokesperson said a security alert was issued regarding flight AI188 while traveling from Toronto to Delhi on Thursday (November 13, 2025). “The crew on board carried out all prescribed safety drills while giving utmost priority to the safety of passengers.
The flight has landed safely in Delhi and has been parked for mandatory security checks by security as per protocol,” the spokesperson said in a statement. The spokesperson also said that all passengers and crew had disembarked safely. The flight landed at Delhi airport at around 3:40 pm.
According to information available on flight tracking website Flightradar24. com, the duration of the Toronto-Delhi flight, operated by a Boeing 777 aircraft, was a little over 15 hours.
