Vivo launched its Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE in India earlier this week, but rumors about its next-generation X-series smartphones have already started surfacing online. The smartphone maker is expected to launch its next-generation handset series with the Vivo X500 branding instead of the Vivo X400 lineup.

The Vivo X500 series is said to have been spotted on the IMEI database, suggesting that the new smartphone is already in development, and the Vivo Vivo X500 may debut alongside Vivo X500 Pro, Vivo X500e Entries for the Vivo However, the screenshots do not reveal any other key specifications or features of the upcoming phone. The listing suggests that Vivo will be avoiding the Vivo X400 moniker due to tetraphobia.

The Vivo X500 is expected to have a one-inch panel, while the Vivo X500 Pro model may get a larger one-inch display. Both are said to feature a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for authentication.

They are expected to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 series chipset. These are likely to be 7,000mAh battery units with support for 100W fast charging.

Previous leaks had claimed that the Vivo The lineup is said to include a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter. The Vivo X500 and X500 Pro are expected to be upgrades to the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro respectively.

These can be launched with Vivo X500 Pro Max variant. It seems that Vivo X500e is a new addition to this lineup. Vivo has not launched Vivo X300e variant this year.

Apart from the vanilla and Pro models, the current series includes the Vivo X300 FE and the flagship Vivo X300 Ultra models.
